Street number exists
What this tool does
This tool checks if a house number exists at a given street address. It uses a public mapping service to find the location. If the service finds a specific number for that street, it returns true. If the street number is missing from the results, it returns false.
Common caveat: This check depends entirely on the mapping service's data. If the address is correct but the service does not have a specific number listed for that street, the result will be false. This does not mean the number is wrong, only that the service could not confirm it.
Common uses
- Verifying house numbers in addresses before sending mail or visits.
- Checking if a specific address has been fully formatted with a street number.
- Filtering out addresses that appear incomplete in your database.
