IBAN is valid
What this tool does
This tool checks whether an International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is in the correct format. It verifies that the country code is real, the length matches that country's rules, and the check digits are calculated correctly. It does not check if the account is open or if money can be sent to it.
Common uses
- Validating customer bank details before a payment is processed
- Cleaning up a list of bank accounts to remove obvious typos
