Dates are equal
What this tool does
Check if two calendar dates are the same.
This tool compares the date you provide as the first input with the date in the second input. If the second date is left empty, the tool only checks if the first date is valid and returns that it matches itself. Dates must be in a standard format like 1975-05-20.
Common uses
- Verify that a start date and an end date on a form match when they should.
- Confirm that a recorded date has not been changed since it was first entered.
