GTIN13 is valid
What this tool does
This tool checks whether a 13-digit barcode number follows the correct standard format for retail products.
The check is based on a simple mathematical rule. It confirms if the number is the right length (exactly 13 digits) and if the final digit correctly matches the rest. It does not check if the product actually exists in a global database or if the barcode is still valid for sale.
Common uses
- Validating product data before uploading it to a sales system.
- Checking for simple typing errors in barcode numbers.
- Ensuring data consistency in inventory lists.
