String is valid by pattern
What this tool does
This tool checks whether a given piece of text contains a sequence of characters that matches a specific pattern you define. You provide the text to check and the pattern rules, and the platform returns whether a match was found.
The check is case-insensitive, meaning 'Test' and 'test' are treated as the same. If the pattern rules you provide are invalid or contain syntax errors, the tool will report that no match was found instead of showing an error.
Common uses
- Validating user input in forms against specific character patterns.
- Searching for specific keywords or codes within longer text blocks.
- Filtering lists of text data based on simple content rules.
