Word count between

What this tool does

This tool checks if the number of words in a piece of text falls between two specific numbers. You provide the text and a minimum and maximum count, and the system tells you if the actual word count is within that range.

The word count is calculated based on sequences of letters and numbers found in the text. It does not count punctuation or symbols as words.

Common uses

  • Verifying that a form response or comment fits within a specific word limit.
  • Checking if a summary or description is neither too short nor too long for a specific requirement.
  • Validating text length for content guidelines that specify a range.
