Normalized date
What this tool does
This tool takes a date written in many different formats and turns it into a standard format (year-month-day). It removes unwanted characters and checks if the date is real. If the date is valid, it gives you the clean version. If the date is not valid, it gives you a blank result.
Common uses
- Turning messy date entries from forms into a consistent format.
- Checking if a date provided by a user is actually valid.
