Parsed fullname
What this tool does
This tool breaks a full name into separate parts: given name(s) and one or more surnames. It also estimates the likely gender from the first name and detects when the input comes in surname-first order. The tool cleans up the input by removing special characters and standardizing the text before splitting it, and strips honorifics such as 'Dr' or 'Sra'.
Nicknames and diminutives are resolved to the real given name using a curated dictionary (for example 'Pedrito' -> 'Pedro', 'Pepe' -> 'Jose'); the original form is returned in the 'nickname' field. Obvious single-character typos are corrected conservatively to known names/surnames; when that happens 'corrected' is true and 'corrections' lists each fix. Besides the basic parts, it returns structured fields: separate surnames, name particles ('de la'), the honorific, initials, a normalized full name, a display-friendly name, gender confidence and an overall confidence score (0-1). Gender and ordering are based on Spanish INE name/surname frequencies and may not be accurate for every person; use the confidence fields to decide when to review.

- Separating combined names in customer records for better organization.
- Automatically filling in gender fields in forms based on the first name.
- Standardizing name formats to ensure consistency across your data.
- Detecting surname-first inputs and normalizing them to a canonical order.
