Gender by name
What this tool does
This tool guesses the gender (male, female, or company) of a person or business based on a name. It checks a reference list of Spanish names to make a suggestion.
The result is based on name matching only and may not reflect the actual gender identity of the individual or the true nature of the entity. It uses a specific list of Spanish names, so results might be missing for very uncommon or non-Spanish names.
Common uses
- Pre-filling form fields in customer databases with gender information.
- Segmenting email lists for personalized marketing campaigns.
- Checking if a name refers to a business rather than a person.
