Normalized string by field
What this tool does
This tool cleans and formats text based on the type of information you provide, such as a name, address, or phone number. It removes unwanted characters and applies standard formatting rules to make the data consistent and ready for use.
Please note that this tool performs local formatting rules only. It does not verify if the data is real, correct, or currently active in any external database. For example, it can format an address correctly but cannot confirm that the street actually exists.
Common uses
- Preparing customer name lists for import by ensuring consistent capitalization and spacing.
- Standardizing address fields before sending shipping labels or invoices.
- Cleaning up contact details to remove special characters that might cause system errors.
