Text without HTML
What this tool does
This tool takes text that includes HTML formatting tags and extracts the plain text content. It removes the tags and converts special character codes into their readable equivalents, such as turning '&' into '&'.
Please note: This process only strips tags and decodes character codes. It does not validate the input as proper HTML, nor does it preserve structural elements like paragraphs or line breaks beyond what the raw text contains.
Common uses
- Extracting readable text from email templates or web pages that contain formatting.
- Preparing data for analysis by removing unnecessary formatting characters.
