What this tool does
This tool captures an image of a webpage using a browser. It takes a web address and returns a direct link to a PNG file showing what the page looked like when captured. The platform stores this image for 24 hours and then deletes it.
Because the tool uses a real browser, the image may look different depending on your internet connection or how the website loads content. The platform captures the page as it is presented at that exact moment, which may differ from what you see if you open it manually later.
Common uses
- Creating visual records of how a webpage appeared at a specific time.
- Generating preview images for social media or documentation.
- Checking how a website looks on different screen sizes.
Good to know
- You can choose to hide pop-ups and cookie banners to get a cleaner image.
- The captured image is automatically saved to a temporary storage location.
