Email exists (extended)

What this tool does

This tool checks if an email address is valid and safe to use. It looks at the format, the domain type, and whether the recipient can actually receive messages.

Some domains, like Yahoo, accept all emails sent to them, so the tool cannot confirm if a specific address exists there. In those cases, the result may be 'catchall'. Also, results are saved for a short time, so repeated checks for the same address might use stored data.

Common uses

  • Check for free services like Gmail or Hotmail.
  • Identify temporary or disposable email addresses.
  • See if the address is on Spain's opt-out list (Robinson).
