Improved parsed address
What this tool does
This tool takes a full postal address and breaks it down into separate parts like street, city, and country. It also finds the location on a map using latitude and longitude. This helps you clean up messy address data so it is easier to read and use.
The results depend on the map service used. Sometimes the map service does not recognize an address or cannot find specific parts, so those fields may be empty. The 'exact' field is not a live measurement of match quality and is always false in the current system.
Common uses
- Splitting a single address line into clear fields for a database
- Filling in missing city, country, or zip code details from a raw address text
- Getting map coordinates (latitude and longitude) for a known address
