What this tool does
This tool finds the full names of currencies based on a short letter code. It looks for currencies whose three-letter code starts with the letters you provide.
The results are based on a fixed list stored in the platform. The names returned are always the same for a given code and do not change with market conditions.
Common uses
- Verifying the name of a currency when you only have its code.
- Helping users select the correct currency in a form by showing possible matches.
Note on cost
0.010 credits per call. The cost is charged even when the tool returns an error or does not find a result.
