Domain by IP
What this tool does
This tool finds the main website name associated with a given internet address (IP address). It works by asking the internet's directory system for the name linked to that address.
Important: The information returned comes from a directory record that is often not updated. Many addresses do not have a name recorded here, or the name might be outdated. The result is an approximation based on stored records, not a live check of the website's current status.
Common uses
- Identifying a website name from its numerical address
- Verifying if an IP address has a registered network name
