Elevation in metres by coordinates
What this tool does
This tool finds the height of the ground in metres at a specific point on the map, based on the latitude and longitude you provide. It uses data from a public weather and geography service.
Keep in mind that the elevation value is an estimate. It is based on digital terrain models and may not reflect the exact height of a building, a bridge, or a small hill at your precise location.
Common uses
- Planning hikes or cycling routes to understand the terrain steepness.
- Checking the altitude of a location for travel or photography purposes.
- Getting a general sense of how high a place is above sea level.
