Geocoded Location by IP
What this tool does
This tool finds the approximate physical location associated with an Internet Protocol (IP) address. It uses the IP to determine the latitude and longitude, then looks up the nearby city, region, and country details. This helps you understand where web visitors are coming from geographically.
The location data is an estimate based on IP address databases. It is not a precise street address and may not match the user's actual physical position exactly, especially for mobile connections or corporate networks.
Common uses
- Determining the general region of website traffic for marketing reports
- Filtering content or services based on the visitor's country
- Understanding the geographic distribution of your audience
