Route between IPs

What this tool does

This tool estimates the driving time, distance, fuel usage, and cost for a trip between two locations. It works by converting the IP addresses you provide into physical geographic coordinates and then calculating a route between those points. The platform uses a standard fast route for the calculation and does not include toll costs.

Please note that the results are approximations. The actual travel time and distance may differ based on real-time traffic, road closures, or the specific route taken. Fuel consumption is calculated using a fixed rate, which may not reflect your actual vehicle efficiency.

Common uses

  • Comparing the estimated travel costs between two office locations based on IP addresses.
  • Planning a rough budget for a business trip or field visit.
  • Estimating the distance between two team members' locations for scheduling purposes.

Input data

Parameter Required Example Description
ip1 Yes 95.23.100.79 Enter the starting location as an IP address (for example, 95.23.100.79). This is required.
ip2 Yes 88.190.16.36 Enter the destination location as an IP address (for example, 88.190.16.36). This is required.
fuel_consumption Yes 5 Enter the fuel consumption rate for your vehicle in liters per 100 kilometers (for example, 5). This is required.
price_liter Yes 1.2 Enter the price of one liter of fuel in your local currency (for example, 1.2). This is required.

Output data

Field Description
cost The estimated total fuel cost for the trip, calculated using your specified price and consumption rate (for example, 12.50).
destination The geographic coordinates of the destination IP address, provided in latitude and longitude format (for example, 40.4168,-3.7038).
distance The estimated driving distance between the two locations in kilometers (for example, 650).
duration The estimated driving time in minutes, assuming a fast route (for example, 390).
fuel The estimated amount of fuel needed for the trip in liters, based on your input consumption rate (for example, 32.5).
source The geographic coordinates of the starting IP address, provided in latitude and longitude format (for example, 41.3851,2.1734).
