VAT% by IP
What this tool does
This tool estimates the standard Value Added Tax (VAT) rate for the country associated with a specific internet address (IP). It looks up the location of the IP to find the country and then provides the typical tax percentage for that region.
Please note that this result is an estimate based on the public IP address. The actual VAT rate applicable to a business or transaction may differ due to local laws, specific industry exemptions, or if the IP address does not accurately reflect the user's physical location. Additionally, some addresses (like local network tests) will not return valid data.
Common uses
- Quickly checking the standard tax rate for the region where a website visitor appears to be located.
- Estimating tax values for international e-commerce transactions when precise billing addresses are not yet known.
- Validating country-specific tax expectations for digital services.
