Mobile supports sms
What this tool does
This tool checks if a mobile phone number is valid and capable of receiving text messages. It works by verifying that the number belongs to a mobile line with a carrier that supports SMS.
Please note that this check is an approximation. While it usually gives accurate results for active numbers, it does not perform a live test to confirm the phone is currently turned on or has a signal. Results may vary if the carrier's data is not fully updated.
Common uses
- Verifying customer phone numbers before sending important SMS notifications
- Filtering out landline or non-working numbers from a contact list
- Preparing a clean list for marketing or two-factor authentication campaigns
Good to know
- The number must be in international format, starting with a plus sign (e.g. +34605281220)
- If the number is not a mobile phone (e.g. a landline), the tool will report that it cannot receive SMS
