Valid phone format (ES)
What this tool does
This tool checks if a phone number is a valid landline in Spain. It verifies that the number is formatted correctly for the Spanish public telephone network and confirms that the number type is fixed-line, excluding mobile numbers.
The result is based on the number's format and type classification. It does not verify if the phone line is currently active, connected, or if it can actually receive calls. A 'yes' result only confirms the number structure and type, not its operational status.
Common uses
- Filtering contact lists to identify only Spanish landline numbers.
- Validating customer data entry for business or office phone contacts.
- Ensuring marketing lists contain only fixed-line numbers for specific campaigns.
Good to know
- You can enter the number with or without the country code 34; the tool will add it if missing.
- Mobile numbers will be marked as invalid even if the digits are correct for Spain.
