Phone or mobile valid
What this tool does
This tool checks if a phone number has a valid structure and prefix for a specific country. It determines whether the number follows the correct rules for that region, covering both landline and mobile formats.
Please note that this check only validates the number format and prefix. It does not verify if the number is currently active, connected, or able to receive calls. The results depend on the country code provided and the library used for validation.
Common uses
- Validating customer contact lists to remove obviously incorrect numbers
- Ensuring phone numbers entered in forms match the required country format
- Filtering out numbers that do not belong to the expected region
