Fixed domain email
What this tool does
This tool checks an email address for common typos in the domain part (the part after the @ symbol) and corrects them. For example, it can fix 'gmil.com' to 'gmail.com'. It uses a built-in list of common domains to make these corrections quickly.
If the domain is not in the list of common domains, the tool does not check if the domain is real. It simply returns the original address unchanged. This means the tool only fixes obvious spelling mistakes for well-known providers, not invalid domains.
Common uses
- Correcting misspelled email addresses from manual data entry.
- Improving the quality of your contact list by fixing common provider names.
