Formatted mobile
What this tool does
This tool formats a mobile phone number into international style using a two-letter country code. You provide the number and the country, and it adds the correct country prefix and plus sign.
The formatting is based on simple rules. If the number already has the country code, it keeps it. If not, it adds the prefix for the country you chose. The result is only considered valid if it matches the platform's general rules for mobile numbers. If the number is empty or the country code is missing, no formatting happens.
Common uses
- Standardizing contact lists to ensure all numbers are in the same format.
- Preparing numbers for sending SMS messages where the international format is required.
- Correcting numbers that are missing their country prefix.
