Mobile lookup
What this tool does
This tool checks if a mobile phone number is real and active. It uses a live network query to confirm the number exists, is turned on, and supports SMS messages. It also tells you the country, the mobile network operator, and whether the number has been ported to a different provider or is currently roaming.
Common uses
- Verifying customer phone numbers before sending SMS campaigns
- Checking if a phone number is still active and reachable
- Identifying if a number has changed providers (ported) or is traveling (roaming)

country | The two-letter country code where the mobile number is registered (e.g., ES for Spain). |
error | A yes/no indicator ('true' or 'false') indicating if an error occurred during the lookup (currently returns 'false' even if the lookup fails, with reasons in 'reason'). |
exist | A yes/no indicator ('true' or 'false') showing if the number is registered in the mobile network. |
is_ported | A yes/no indicator ('true' or 'false') showing if the number has been moved from one mobile network operator to another. |
is_roaming | A yes/no indicator ('true' or 'false') showing if the phone is currently abroad (roaming). |
network | The name of the mobile network operator assigned to the number (e.g., Movistar, Vodafone). |
ported_country | The country code of the previous network operator, shown only if the number was ported. |
ported_network | The name of the previous mobile network operator, shown only if the number was ported. |
reason | A short text explaining why the lookup failed (e.g., 'not-a-mobile-number' or 'service-unavailable'), or empty if successful. |
roaming_country | The country code where the phone is currently roaming, shown only if the phone is abroad. |
roaming_network | The name of the local network the phone is connected to while roaming, shown only if the phone is abroad. |
sms | A yes/no indicator ('true' or 'false') showing if the number supports sending and receiving SMS messages. |
