Mobile/Landline lookup (Spain)

What this tool does

This tool checks if a phone number starting with Spain's country code is valid and determines whether it is a mobile or landline number. It also identifies the mobile operator and, for landlines, the province.

Results for mobile numbers are based on network data, but some checks, such as whether the line is active or if it can receive SMS, may be approximations or based on carrier reporting rather than a live test. Landline numbers do not support SMS.

Common uses

  • Separating mobile contacts from landline contacts for targeted messaging.
  • Verifying the validity of a Spanish phone number before adding it to a database.
  • Identifying the mobile network operator for a given number.

Good to know

  • The tool expects numbers in international format, for example starting with +34.
  • If the number format is incorrect, the tool will not return detailed carrier information.
