Fixed phone
What this tool does
This tool checks whether a phone number belongs to a fixed landline rather than a mobile phone. You must provide the phone number and the two-letter country code to help the platform identify the correct service provider.
Results depend on the information available from the carrier. For some numbers, the platform may not be able to confirm the line type and will return an availability status instead.
Common uses
- Filtering contact lists to separate landlines from mobile numbers.
- Verifying if a listed contact number is a fixed line for direct dialing or office communication.
- Auditing customer data to ensure the correct type of number is recorded.
